Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges derived its name from the man who was loved so much by the Filipino people during his time. August 31, marks the birth of this great man. It was the late President of the institution- Mr. Florante Millado who asked personally Mrs. Luz Magsaysay- the wife of Ramon Magsaysay to affix the name of her late husband .The present name was primarily conceived in memory of the late President of the Republic of the Philippines. Thus, the name RAMON MAGSAYSAY MEMORIAL COLLEGES. But who was this great man? What draws him closer to the Filipino masses? |

UPDATES ON ACCREDITATION
The Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines ( FAAP ) has granted Level 1 Accredited Status to Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges for having satisfactorily met the standards and fulfilled all the requirements of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation ( PACUCOA ). The said certification is valid until Ocotber 2012. With three ( 3 ) programs on LEVEL 1 STATUS- Business Education/ Commerce, Criminology and Liberal Arts and two( 2) CANDIDATE STATUS programs ( Elementary Education and Secondary Education ), RMMC is set to accredit other programs. Sincere to its quest for quality education, the institution has just undergone CONSULTANCY VISIT for its seven ( 7 ) programs last July 28-29, 2010. These programs are the following: Accountancy, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, High School, Information technology, Master of Arts in Education and Office Administration. |

RMMC PRODUCES 47 NEW CRIMINOLOGISTS The first and the only accredited criminology program in South central Mindanao has produced the most number of criminologists among schools in the area in the September 2009 Criminologist Licensure examination. RMMC’s performance is a testimony that the institution is offering quality education to those who would like to become law enforcers in the future. The institution is ranked # 1 in region 12, # 5 in Mindanao and # 21 in the whole Philippines in Category A ( with 100 or more examines ). |

RMMC RANKS 2ND TOP PERFORMING SCHOOL in the CUSTOMS BROKER LICENSURE EXAMINATION
RMMC’s first timers who took the October 2009 Customs Broker Licensure examination posted an 80% passing percentage thus paving the way for the school to obtain the 2nd spot among 62 schools all over the country. All who took the exam are all first timers. A total of 386 out of 1, 124 passed the said examination or 34.34% national passing percentage. RMMC’s new custom brokers who made us proud are the following: Maria Choly Demadara Labustro, Rocelyn Fajardo Navidas, Janess Serrano Polestico and Chariza Mhy Garalde Te Huy.
