1.Assesses and accredits prior non-formal and informal learning of individuals towards the granting of equivalency certificates and awards in higher education.
2.Carry-out the guidelines for the award of undergraduate academic degrees to deserving individuals.
3.Acts as channel for the industry workforce to gain access to educational opportunities through the ETEEAP scheme.
4.Implements the standards and guidelines for education, accreditation and equivalency in the undergraduate level to ensure harmony in their implementation.
